1956
Humble beginnings
In 1956 a small workshop by the name of “Cays Engineering” is opened on 8 Tindale Street.
1990’s
The journey continues
With a determined focus on quality and delivery, the business soon outgrew 8 Tindale Street and was in need of new premises. A suitable block was purchased, and arrangements were made to build a new workshop and offices.
1996
The big move
After much planning and construction, the new facility was completed. And, in 1996, Cays officially moved to its current premises on 17 Thornborough Road
2000’s
Modern day growth
Over the years the business has enjoyed continued growth, largely as a result of developing and maintaining good working relationships with a number of key clients resulting in significant repeat business. Today Cays Engineering employs over twenty full-time office staff and up to seventy-five shop floor employees.

Specialising in the production of high-quality steel fabrication, with expertise in Project Management and Construction throughout Australia.
